GITA 2 Projects!
Welcome to my GITA 2 projects! Projects that I am proud of:
-Collage -Merchandise Store -Basic Space Invader -Tank Game -Submarine ProgramWelcome to my GITA 2 projects! Projects that I am proud of:
-Collage -Merchandise Store -Basic Space Invader -Tank Game -Submarine ProgramThis was my first project in GITA 2! We learned how to do basic text and styling, and we reasearched about Data Privacy, Security, and Ethical Computing!
Due: August 25, 2025
In this project, I created a simple business card. I learned how to style a bit more with this project.
Due: September 2nd, 2025
In this project, I had to make a collage with images that represent me. I drew some of the images using MSpaint. this project taught me A LOT about styling. I worked very hard on this one.
Due: September 5, 2025
In this project I made a fake online store where you can buy vintage cat plushies! I learned how to use Javascript and how to calculate things. I also did a bunch of styling for this project. I worked super hard on this project and I think that it turned out great. Please note that this is the upgraded version so there are added elements that were not in the first version. Cool things I added to the project: -Buttons to increase the quantity of how much product you wanted -Cool design -Reset/Clear form button
Due: September 24, 2025 (Non upgraded was due on September 11)
In this project I learned how to use random variables. I also learned how to do calculations based off of the random numbers.
Due: September 16, 2025
In this project I used random variables to simulate a simple game of craps. Much like the project that I did in GITA 1, I checked which number the player rolls to determine if they win or lose.
Due: September 19, 2025
In this project I learned how to make the program draw a circle, and to move that circle along with certain restrictions of movement. I learned how to use canvas for the first time in HTML!
Due: October 1, 2025
In this project I used canvas to make a game replicating the classic space invader game. I really liked this project because I love making games as well as having something that is very user interactive. I spent a lot of time making the spaceship for this game and overall it was very fun to do.
Due: October 13, 2025
In this project I used canvas to make a game where you play as a tank and try to hit all of the targets. This was really fun and hard to make, as I had to draw the tank pixel by pixel. I also added my own touch to this project, like how there are three variants of targets you can hit for more points. The instructions are in the game.
Due: October 21, 2025
This project is basically like the Circle Bounce Project but better. Here, instead of two balls, there are multiple! This project features an array to keep track of all of the balls and their interactions.
Due: October 24, 2025
This project simulates a game where the user plays as a submarine, using arrow keys to move it around. The user has to try to keep the tiny fish in the project alive. This game taught a lot about arrays, and I put in a lot of extra work into this project. I recommend playing in full screen to prevent screen movement while playing. Some cool things I added to this project (things that weren't required): -Different sizes of different fish -Different colors of different fish -Different speeds of different fish -The random change of direction for each fish -Transparent light thing surrounding tiny fish -The submarine design -The How to Play screen at the start -The tiny fish's health bar! Side note: the encryption made the game very laggy so apologies about that.
